Bubble houses of Wallace Neff

Wallace Neff (1895–1982) may be best known for the Spanish Colonial Revival homes he designed for Hollywood stars including Judy Garland, Groucho Marx and Douglas Fairbanks Jr., but Neff considered his most significant contribution to the field of architecture — his legacy — to be his Airform bubble houses.

Wallace Neff - Airform Dome Pioneer - Mortar Sprayer

Wallace Neff was a founder of balloon formed architecture. Neff would inflate a rubber form and spray concrete on it.
