Easy Baby quilt
LET US PREFACE THIS POST: Be sure to iron your fabric with spray starch before cutting AND make sure your seams are truly 1/4". If not, your quilt will not measure up correctly. If you are a beginning quilter, check the position of your needle and make a note of where you set it so all seams will measure correctly. The pattern given uses 1/4 inch seams, the measurements are for CUTTING fabric, which includes seam allowance. Fabric from JoAnns gets a bad rap, even from me! I normally only buy…
A good day
Today was a day to just get to some things. Get them taken care of. First thing I did was clean out the refrigerator. Ugh. Why do I let my refrig get so icky? Probably because I just hate the job of pulling everything out and deciding what is worth keeping. If you let it go long enough, there is little doubt! No photos. Count yourselves lucky. Next I photographed my entry for the "Rituals" invitational. This is "Friendship Ritual". This commemorates my yearly ritual of designing, making and…

Årets første / The first of the year
All…
Over Easy Easter Egg Table Runner
Here' s a cute project for Easter! This pattern is from Pieced Tree. It's a quilt as you go pattern which works up really fast. It also uses Thangles to make the half square triangles into some interesting designs. I realize now I should have taken a picture of the back. I used some Debbie Mumm easter fabric that is pastels with easter eggs on it. I don't know when I will be able to get this on the web site so if you are interested in the kit, it is $39.00. Kit includes all the fabric…
