Before Macbeth found out about his future, he just let fate control his life and wasn't really bothered by it. However, once Macbeth found out that his fate was to become the king, he took the situation directed it to the fate he was told about.
The other disagreement btw Freud & Jung. Jung believed religion (or spirituality) was important to the development of the human psyche, otherwise, there was a constant seeking. I like both men, considering their intellect, yet Jung has a good point.
