Those night when u gry for no reason or stupid reasons...I knw something's broken

"It's in these moments of tender and ridiculous nostalgia that I know something inside me is still broken.

The Nostalgia Effect: OH YES! THE MADHATTER...USED TO BE RIGHT OVER THERE...sigh

The Nostalgia Effect

do you ever just smell an old perfume, or hear an old song, or pass an old hangout spot and kinda break inside for a couple minutes

i'm re-pinning this not because i agree with it, but because it's a beautifully naive piece of thought about death. personally, i think i want to welcome death as a new and last adventure. i know it can come as a painful experience, but it still is new, and it only happens once, so why would you want to pass the same way you lived?

Have You ever smelled a smell and it instantly brings You back to a happy moment from the childhood? I always loved that, I hope that’s what death is, . just sitting on a cloud smelling old smells.

I think maybe technology has done more overall harm than good. I long for the days before I was even born!

We are the generation of nostalgia. We grew up in the age of transition. We grew up in the age of transition and have become the generation of nostalgia.

Finally put into words. I LOVE sad things. Songs, movies, the nostalgia felt from something old. It has always struck me as a brilliantly powerful emotion.

Infp quote from doctor who .this igor explain why I love listening to so many sad, slow songs

you still dream about the people lost in your memory, fabricated by your nostalgia and romanticized by your broken heart.

nostalgia, quote, and art image

"Nostalgia is a dirty liar that insists things were better than they seemed." Or maybe the present is the liar, always insisting things are worse, making you take things for granted and focus on the negatives.

the sad thing is: we spend the first half of our lives planning the future and the second half reliving the past

The sad thing is, we spend the first half of our lives planning the future, and the second half reliving the past. So true.

Then I said goodnight and tucked you away inside a place called Nostalgia where you'll always remain unspoiled, somewhere between my lungs that used to breathe ocean air, and my belly that fluttered with hope.- Victoria Erickson
