WELCOME  It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), the largest and most diverse biomedical research laboratory in the Department of Defense.   Our resources include a new facility in Silver Spring, Maryland that was dedicated in September 2001 to Senator Daniel K. Inouye , and laboratory and clinical facilities. Our greatest resources are the dedicated scientists, technicians, and support personnel who make up the core of the WRAIR today.
