Tahitian dancer in action, Poipu, Kauai, Hawaii
These are oldies but goodies from a trip we took to Kauai back in November 2009 - but it seems like 12 light years ago. The hula show was at a little shopping center - I think it's held three times a week. The dancers were actually very good and it was a fun show to watch. Shooting it was a little bit harder since the stage is bounded on three sides by stores in the shopping center and a parking lot - and any time I tried to snap a shop I noticed some (usually very large) person stopped…
