Racing Karts are perhaps the most crucial items within the game of Sugar Rush. Each racer is required to own one of these sweet candy and cookie vehicles if he or she wants to race and become part of the roster. Racing karts are usually created in the Kart Bakery, which is a mini-game where racers can choose from a variety of ingredients and decorations to bake into their kart. The Candy Kart is the current kart under the possession of Vanellope von Schweetz. Her previous kart, the Likkity Split, was destroyed by Taffyta and the other racers in an attempt to keep her from entering the Random Roster Race. In exchange for the return of his Medal of Heroes, Vanellope has Ralph break into the Kart Bakery and help her make a new kart. The Sugar Rush app is a Leap Motion version of the browser-based Sugar Rush Speedway. However, Vanellope, King Candy, and the recolors are not playable. Unlike in the browser-based version, there is only one lap in each race and eight racers will appear on the racetracks. The Syrup Puddle item was removed from the app when there were upgrades like Bake a Kart.
