Araucaria araucana is an evergreen tree growing to 40 m tall with a trunk diameter. The tree is native to central and southern Chile and western Argentina.

Las Araucarias is located in the west slope of Llaima Volcano, inside the Conguillio National Park, a wonderful place surrounded by ancient araucaria trees.
