Qingyin Pavilion, which means "Pavilion of Pure Sound", also known as "Woyun (Lying Cloud) Temple”, is one of the eight important temples in Mount Emei. It was built by Zen Master Huitong during the reign of Emperor Xizong of the Tang Dynasty. The temple is dedicated to Sakyamuni, Manjushri, and Samantabhadra. It was built in the fourth year of Emperor Xizong of the Tang Dynasty (877 AD). In early Ming Dynasty, the Monk Guangji renamed it to Qingyin Pavilion.
