I just have to say this: I am not at all used to knitting for small children. Or big ones. I have no idea about sizing or how to write the perfect pattern with lots of different sizes to chose from and whatnot. People that have knitted this sweater tells me that it should fit a one year old. So I choose to belive them. This is by no means a professional pattern, but I was asked to share, so I did.
