If children are allowed to collect interesting bits from the ground, after their Special collection has grown, or at the end of the year, artists can use their glue skills to glue a tight arrangement onto mat board. note the difference when not using the same old 8.5x11!  If you gave them a piece that seems "too small" (the dark brown rectangle), these could be mounted nicely at home.
