Balloon Popping meter: as the children sing well, a leader pulls on the ribbon from behind. If the kids have mastered a song, the balloon makes it to the top, where it is popped. If all the songs are mastered, the kids get tootsie "pops.
Children with autism and other special needs respond positively to music and rhythmic activities. They can actively participate by choosing the song, the instrument, and most fun of all...how they want the song to sound. Included are communication boards and individual picture symbols.
