Mont Rocher Carignan VV 2011 Pays d'Herault Languedoc, France. Taste Profile: Stunning wine. A whole truck-full of bright, juicy and silky-soft old vine Carignan goodness floods across your palate. Red fruits and prettiness abound. A remarkable drop at the price.
The “ Moscatel de Mendoza” wine is made from the variety of muscatel from Alexandria, which is the most typical variety in the Mediterranean. This variety is grown in the traditional way in small terraces, with calcareous clay soil with a traditional pruning in a goblet and a very low density, 1300 plants per hectare. This wine has been aged for 10 months in new French Oak Allier barrels.

Red wine ÀN 2009. This is a wine made from very specific vineyards, the old callet vines (40 to 60 years old) that are only found in Majorca; the poor soil with good mineral content lying over calcareous rocks competing with fruit trees planted among the vines giving unique character to these plots and their wines. Red wine aged for 13 months in new French very fine grain oak barrels; low and medium toasted. Two months of tank aging before bottling.
