The town of Sóller in the north west coast Mallorca is famous for its orange marmelade and for the heritage Tranvía de Sóller - one of the two first generation tramways to survive in Spain (the other being Tramvia Blau in Barcelona). It was opened in 1913 and connects Sòller with the coastal village of Port de Sóller. With the population of only 14k people Sòller is one of the smallest European towns with an urban tramway system.
