U-251, a Type VIIC U-boat, returns to Narvik after an Atlantic patrol, June 1942. The Type VIIC formed the workhorse of German U-boats during WWII.  U-251 was subsequently sunk by British aircraft on April 19, 1945.  There was no loss of life.
