Gerhard Richter  Zwei Grau nebeneinander, 1966 – Gerhard Richter – Atlas – (born 9 February 1932) is a German visual artist. Richter has simultaneously produced abstract and photorealistic painted works, as well as photographs and glass pieces. His art follows the examples of Picasso and Jean Arp in undermining the concept of the artist's obligation to maintain a single cohesive style. Richter is regarded as the top-selling living artist.

From 13 September 2015 to 10 January 2016 you can see “Two Greys Juxtaposed” (CR and “Mirror, Blood Red” (CR in the exhibition “Ruhe vor dem Sturm. Postminimalistische Kunst aus dem Rheinland” at Museum Morsbroich, Leverkusen.
