The Carleton Villa on Carleton Island in the Thousand Islands archipelago of New York. Built in 1894 for William O. Wyckoff, whose massive fortune was derived from the Remington arms and typewriter company. The villa has been abandoned for over 60 years.

The Hotel Melrose started as a Victorian mansion in 1881. Decorated with overlapping shingles, cupolas, and domes, it eventually became a hotel apartment. When built, the hotel proper was attached to the mansion which became its annex.

The Melrose Hotel on Bunker Hill, It was demolished in From a remarkable series of color photographs of Bunker Hill taken by the actor George Mann before & claimed the many century structures that made up the heart of old downtown Los Angeles.

Black & Gold, gothic architecture house - Looks very cool in black, perhaps a revolt against the wilder "painted ladies" in SF? but no, I would not like to live in a black house.

Furhouse Manor...abandoned for decades & is filled with treasures from WW2 ID cards to magazines dating back to the queens coronation. Its like the occupant just left. Even the clocks work & the time correctt...beautiful bookcases of books, lovely, now antique furniture. Exact location kept secret to prevent people from stealing items & doing further damage beyond aging of the years. Many additional pictures online. Supposed location is Ireland, United Kingdom.
