Ball gown: Maria Luisa (dite Coré) Black silk taffeta with self-fabric ruched ribbon appliqué. French, spring/summer Christian Dior Haute Couture by John Galliano The Metropolitan Museum. (My inner goth princess is still in love with this gown)
This was formerly titled "steampunk tudor style", and as much as I Love steampunk, let's stop labeling anything and everything gothic 'steampunk'. This is elegant Victorian Goth, and is very reminiscent to Stevie Nicks attire.
fashioninhistory: Christian Dior 1949 Gowns Junon- Skirt of forty five pleats with an extraordinary amount of beading and embellishment Venus- Frosted with iridescent beading and embroidery. This is so freaking pretty!
