Tiberio Julio César Augusto, nacido con el nombre de Tiberio Claudio Nerón fue emperador del Imperio romano desde el 18 de septiembre del año 14 hasta su muerte, el 16 de marzo del año 37. Fue el segundo emperador de Roma y perteneció a la dinastía Julio-Claudia. Era hijo de Tiberio Claudio Nerón y Livia Drusilla, miembro por tanto de la gens Claudia.
