The Egyptian Book of the Dead is a famous book containing spells to be used in the afterlife. The spells were usually written on the walls and on the bodies of the deceased. Researchers spent years trying to track down the pieces of the Book of the Dead given to Amenhotep, a powerful Egyptian official from around 1400 BC. Nearly 100 fragments of this scroll were recently found – not in a sandy tomb, but in the basement of the Queensland Museum, where they were donated almost 100 years ago.

How and why did this being live so much longer than the doctors said he should have, considering the state of his body? How did the Creators of existence contain and control this deliberate intent to harm, abuse and traumatize in order to ensure that it is not lived out by all of humanity through the mind and the body? How did our relationship to the animal kingdom and nature - with humans acting out the deliberate intent to harm, abuse and traumatize – create an imbalance within this physical existence, and how did this imbalance affect the animal kingdom and nature’s relationship to humanity? What does it feel like to fall from a cliff to your death? Why was this man only partially aware of his body as he was falling? What did he realize after his death about the relationship he had with his body and mind in life?

I found this on another site listing historical hotties. This time it's a female samurai, of all things cool, named Tomoe Gozen. Now I have another personal research project to waste time on. Fun!

Tomoe Gozen was a late twelfth-century female samurai warrior (onna bugeisha), known for her bravery and strength. She is believed to have fought in and survived the Genpei War She was also the concubine of Minamoto no Yoshinaka.

I really think this is an excellent article. Simple to understand. Food for thought and a seed for your soul. Judy D.
