Mutabilis Rose

If I was going to choose just one rose for the garden this would be it - Rosa x odorata 'Mutabilis', a rosa chinensis which starts flowering quite early in the year and is one of the last to finish. It bears shocking pink and peachy-apricot flowers on deep maroon stems. The leaves are glaucous. It will make 1.5m x 1.5m or more. I have planted this rose in the UK, France, Italy and Spain and it thrives wherever I plant it. Source: The Shovel-Ready Garden.
