Chucao (Scelorchilus rubecula) is an endemic species that can be found all along Patagonia. Small in size, is easily spotted (not shy at all) and its incredibly distinctive and loud song echoes across the Valdivian Temperate Rainforest.
Woodpecker - Carpintero Negro (Compephilus Magellanicus) The male has this gorgeous red head, and the female, dark brown-black. Monogamous, they spend theor whole lives with the same partner, and can be usually seen in pairs.
King Fisher. You can always see them along the Cochamo and Puelo Valleys. Their strong warble echoes in the mountains, and gives us the opportunity to watch it as it fishes in Patagonia's crystal clear water
